Roshan Development Foundation (RDF)
is a nonprofit committed to social justice, inclusive development, and human dignity. Founded in February 2025, RDF is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI (Reg. No. RP/12737/L/S/24/151).
Born from a shared vision among activists, professionals, and community leaders—and inspired by the legacy of Roshan Dhunjibhoy—RDF works to overcome systemic inequalities that limit access to essential services for women, youth, and minority groups.
Our Vision:
A just, equitable, and peaceful society where every individual—regardless of identity or background—can thrive with dignity.
Our Mission:
To promote inclusive development and strengthen community resilience through participatory programs, capacity‑building, and collaborative action.
What We Do:
We work across four thematic pillars:
Social cohesion, democracy & justice
Gender equality and women’s empowerment
Climate resilience and environmental awareness
Youth leadership and engagement
RDF operates nationwide with an initial focus on Punjab, actively engaging local communities—especially women, youth, persons with disabilities, and minorities—in participatory development processes.
How We Work:
Our Board of Directors provides diverse expertise in policy, education, and development. Our operational team delivers programs on the ground. We collaborate with civil society, academic institutions, media platforms, and international partners to scale impact and ensure transparency.
In a nutshell:
RDF empowers under‑served communities through community-led initiatives rooted in dignity, equity, and collaboration—one step, one story, one community at a time.
